Our Humble Wish List

As many can see our volunteers excel at donating their time to make the Communities Center a more welcoming environment. Not only do they freely give of their time but pay for the supplies used in various projects out of their own personal funds. But some of the projects cost beyond our personal finances therefore we need help from the community. We have been blessed by the many individual donations as well as some corporate help like the siding, decking and skilled professionals donating their time.

People ask us what is our vision for the community center? So, we thought we would make a wish list and describe future projects that would allow us to better serve our communities.

1. Heating system: Our hot air heating system is very inefficient due to ducting improperly located with few vents. New ducts and vents have to be installed.

2.XXXXX Our kitchen stove is an old 6 burner Vulcan that looks like it came with the pilgrims. We have to turn the pilots off after use because they burn more gas than the average household stove uses all month. We are looking for a 10  burner replacement with an electronic igniter.

Thank you for all your donations! We just purchased a new Forno Stove with Duel Fuel Thanks to all the donation we have received.

3. Elevator: Many of our community events are held in the main hall which is on the second floor and we have no handicapped access to help those in need and want to attend. All estimates that we have received in the past require adding an elevator shaft to the outside of the building. This will allow the building to be used Community events such Senior Center for a couple days of the week.
